Hey everyone! The Instant Pot has become one of my favorite things EVER! Seriously, it makes cooking SO easy, and so quick. One of our favorite IP meals is macaroni & cheese. I love that I can add most of the ingredients into the pot, then set it and forget about it!
I have seen a lot of recipes for this macaroni and cheese & to be honest I just eye ball my ingredients now because I have made it so many times!
Here is what you will need!
2 1/2 – 3 cups of elbow macaroni
Chicken broth – I like to add enough so most of the elbow macaroni is covered. See one of the below pictures.
1 cup of heavy whipping cream.
Everything after it has been added. Next, turn your Instant Pot on for 11 minutes high pressure. This one took some testing.. I have seen so many different times, 5-7 minutes.. But for my family 11 has been perfect.
Once the Instant Pot has beeped and the cooking has finished do a quick pressure release. I add in about two handfuls (sometimes a little more) of cheese, 1 tablespoon of butter, and milk. Just enough milk to make it creamy.
There you have it! Instant Pot Macaroni and Cheese! THE BEST EVER! Try it, I promise you won’t regret it. 🙂
